Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Unified Communications Engineer to lead the engineering and implementation of Zoom in a hybrid Webex/Cisco environment. This role requires a true SME who can go beyond AV installs or basic administration and guide the full end-to-end rollout. The project is currently in the POC stage, and the engineer must have proven experience with migrations and deep Zoom expertise, particularly in Webex-to-Zoom transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, deployment, and integration of Zoom platforms (Zoom Rooms, Zoom Phone, Meetings, Webinars) in a hybrid Webex/Cisco environment.
• Drive UC migration projects, with a strong focus on Webex-to-Zoom transitions.
• Configure and manage SIP trunking, VoIP, SBCs, and telephony protocols.
• Implement monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting solutions for collaboration tools.
• Produce technical documentation and provide guidance across project phases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth delivery from POC through production.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in Unified Communications engineering.
• 5 years of hands-on Zoom administration (Rooms, Phone, Meetings, Webinars).
• Proven experience deploying Zoom in hybrid Webex/Cisco environments.
• Strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP, SBCs, and related telephony protocols.
• Experience with UC migration projects (Webex Zoom strongly preferred).
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and self-drive implementation efforts.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Teams or other UC platforms.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zoom Dashboard, ThousandEyes, Splunk, etc.).
• Certifications in UC technologies (Zoom Certified Integrator, Cisco Collaboration, etc.).
