What you will do:

What you can expect:
- In conjunction with the Product Owner, drive the user needs/ recommendations/ requirements discovery-design process following the team's design guides.
- Develop screen and process designs in Figma leveraging design guides.
- Partner closely with engineering to translate designs into high quality, scalable UI implementations, supported by a strong understanding of front end development concepts including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks relevant to the team's technical stack.
- Contribute to and help evolve a shared design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability across Asset Central experiences; take ownership of maintaining reusable UI components and patterns in collaboration with engineering.
- Design and iterate on complex, data dense enterprise workflows, balancing usability, performance, and technical feasibility in a cloud based application environment.
- Explore and design AI enabled user experiences, including AI assisted workflows, intelligent recommendations, and emerging interaction patterns, partnering with product and engineering to bring these concepts to life.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders/SMEs, including development teams, product owners, business analysts, and end-users, to evaluate, define, and prioritize business requirements.
- Maintain a product mindset that prioritizes the customer and focuses on delivering value through the Asset Central product.
- Utilize agile methodologies in the development process, from sprint planning to daily stand-ups, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide updates on status, timelines, and problems; review final outcomes with the client and obtain their sign-off that work is in accordance with client requirements.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience with UI/UX design experience (e.g., user research, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, etc.)
- Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Experience with design tools (such as Figma or Adobe XD) and project management tools (such as Jira or Confluence).
- Experience in user requirements gathering including business process mapping.
- Strong working knowledge of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and UI development concepts.
- Hands on experience designing with and for Kendo UI (or similar enterprise UI component libraries), including extending and customizing components.
- Experience designing AI driven or AI assisted experiences, such as intelligent data surfaces, predictive insights, conversational interfaces, or workflow automation.
- In-depth knowledge of agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Leadership Skills:
- Experience facilitating meetings and presentations with stakeholders across various levels and business groups.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail, delivering high-quality solutions and designs.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving project requirements.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, with effective team building and conflict resolution practices.
