The UI/UX Analyst leads the project team through the entire design lifecycle, from initial sketches to accessibility remediation.
- User Research & Experience Design
- User Advocacy: Serve as the primary advocate for the end-user, identifying pain points and process flows to deliver intuitive visual solutions.
- Requirements Integration: Participate in Joint Application Modeling (JAM) sessions and brainstorm sessions with business owners to translate user stories into functional designs.
- Information Architecture: Analyze and design the structural layout of information to ensure high usability and scalability.
- Wireframing & Prototyping
- Visual Deliverables: Create sketches, wireframes, and mockups using industry-standard tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.).
- Interactive Models: Develop high-fidelity functioning prototypes to demonstrate application flow to stakeholders.
- Standard Conformance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to established "Look & Feel" branding standards.
- Accessibility & Testing
- ADA Compliance: Lead the project in meeting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Perform accessibility testing and advise developers on vulnerability remediation.
- Usability Testing: Create and facilitate usability tests with intended end-users, iterating on designs based on direct feedback and A/B testing results.
- Technical Collaboration
- Developer Liaison: Provide guidance to the development team on UI/UX best practices and established coding standards.
- Feasibility Reviews: Review wireframes with Technical Leads to ensure designs are technically achievable before presenting to the business.
