Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage legal documents related to estate planning, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence to clients and courts under attorney supervision.
- Assist attorneys in client meetings, depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations, ensuring all relevant documents and materials are available.
- Organize, index, and track files related to important case documents and evidence for easy retrieval by attorneys and other team members.
- Facilitate communication and interaction between the client and attorney, acting as a liaison when necessary.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Trust and Estate Paralegal or a similar role in the Legal industry.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and writing legal reports.
- Demonstrated experience in client interaction, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the laws and regulations related to trust and estate.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Paralegal certification or a degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred.
