Day to Day Tasks
- Provide guidelines, reviews, and support to developers and business analysts by creating functional tests.
- Perform testing activities, including UI automation, integration testing, and functional testing.
- Develop test cases based on Business Rules to perform or direct testing requirements.
- Review and provide guidance on the test scope and output of other testers.
- Facilitate, record, and capture information from demos and user experience sessions.
- Create status reporting mechanisms to monitor testing activities.
- Host integration discussions with various test teams to identify and resolve roadblocks.
- Ensure requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase.
- Prepare test protocols and regulatory reports during final test cycles.
- Maintain efficient test processes and advocate for appropriate project methodologies.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for testing activities and team communication.
- Lead Experience: 84 months of experience with team leadership responsibilities as the lead project tester on highly technical projects (over 5,000 resource hours).
- Test Planning: 84 months of experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test plans based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Coordination: 84 months of experience coordinating, tracking, and analyzing testing activities.
- UAT Management: 84 months of experience creating test plans for client agencies and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) performed by application users.
- Automation Tools: 84 months of experience using functional test tools (e.g., OpenText) to design, build, code, and execute automated tests.
- Micro Focus ALM: 84 months of experience using Micro Focus ALM (formerly HP Application Lifecycle Management/Quality Center).
- Customization: 84 months of experience recording and customizing automated functional tests.
- SQL Validation: 84 months of experience creating SQL queries to validate back-end processing.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
