Test Engineer

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Salary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly

About The Role

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test systems, procedures, and methods to evaluate standard and specialized devices. The position supports both production and customer sample testing, including complex or non-standard tests. The engineer will analyze test data, recommend improvements, and support changes across testing equipment, procedures, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test systems, methods, and equipment
• Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, and equipment for testing activities
• Define test parameters and specify test procedures for sample evaluation
• Execute and troubleshoot test procedures for standard and special devices
• Perform testing for all customer samples, including non-routine tests
• Collect, analyze, and document test data and results
• Identify and recommend changes to test equipment or test procedures
• Support updates to manufacturing processes based on test outcomes
• Develop and refine test requirements and validation criteria
• Maintain compliance with safety and operational guidelines in the test area
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in test systems development
• Minimum 6 years of experience executing and troubleshooting test procedures
• Minimum 6 years of experience developing test requirements
  
  

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience testing complex or custom-engineered devices
• Background supporting manufacturing or production test environments
• Experience with test data analysis and reporting
