Test Engineer

Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly

About The Role

As a Test and Technical Support Engineer, you will ensure customers receive high-quality, functional RF Communications and Radar products. You'll provide troubleshooting and process guidance to a unionized workforce in both proactive and reactive situations. Your responsibilities include developing and updating test procedures, resolving technical issues with Special Test Equipment (STE) and Unit Under Test (UUT), and generating test-ready documentation for production. You will also drive continuous improvement in test methods and products.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for RF Communications and Radar products.
• Develop and update test procedures based on requirements.
• Solve technical issues related to STE and UUT.
• Generate accurate documentation for production use.
• Investigate issues, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions.
• Train test technicians on procedures and best practices.
• Apply systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent military/commercial experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with RF Communications, RADAR, or SONAR.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrical test measurement and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
• Strong technical writing skills for procedures and documentation.
• Familiarity with Configuration Management (CM) practices.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Fiber optics experience.
• Component-level troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
