Job Description

A Technical Writer job with Belcan Engineering Group is currently available in Lynn, MA. This job is a full-time direct position. To be considered for this role, you will need an associate's degree in engineering or another technical field. In this job your primary responsibility will be drafting repair engineering instructions for an engine repair manual. You will be expected to learn from repair engineers and facilitate timely drafting of repair engineering instructions.

Job Duties:

• Draft Repair Engineering Instructions documents for depot-repairable items
• Create cleaning procedures for engine parts
• Revise draft Repair Engineering Instructions and cleaning procedures based on project team and customer inputs
• Document inspection limits and requirements
• Maintain strong communication with internal project team and customer
  
  

Required:

• Associate's degree in engineering technology, or another technical field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
  

Preferred:

• Technical Writing Experience
• Bachelor"s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Manufacturing Planning experience
• Experience working in a Technical Publications organization
• Experience working in a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul environment
  
  

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $55,000-$85,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
