Technical Program Manager – Cloud Security / Vulnerability Management

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 12 months

Project: Likely tied to enterprise-wide Claude Mythos security remediation / patching initiatives

• 100% Needs TECHNICAL Domain knowledge (Not just a good program manager but a REALLY GOOD TPM)
• Cloud controls
• AI Tooling Experience (coding Scanning)
• Vulnerability Management Remediation
• CDE structure
• This team is Building new tooling to help developers in this new AI world
• Tooling for them to understand what is being built, looking at it from a lens of how are we protecting ourselves
• Can come in and understand that from a technical standpoint, but can also speak with developers they can understand adoption. Job is not done when the developers turn the tools on and manage them.
• Follow up speaking with developers, making sure adoption is on point, putting it in hygiene systems. If things are falling through the cracks, follow up to get it done.
  
  

Need someone who is extremely detail oriented and has the ability to control the narrative and push projects forward.

Job Description:

• High-Level Overview
• This TPM role will help drive large-scale security and cloud engineering programs across the Technology & Operations Risk organization.
• The person will coordinate cross-functional delivery efforts tied to security remediation, vulnerability management, cloud security, and engineering modernization initiatives.
• This is NOT a pure Scrum Master role. The manager is looking for someone who can operate strategically across engineering, product, and security teams while also understanding enough technical depth to facilitate architecture discussions, remediation programs, and delivery coordination.
• The environment appears highly matrixed with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and large-scale security initiatives moving simultaneously.
  
  

Must Haves:

• Strong Technical Program Management experience
• Experience supporting large-scale technical/security initiatives
• Experience in cloud or software engineering environments
  
  

Strong Agile delivery background:

• Scrum
• Kanban
• Scaled Agile
• Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders
• Strong risk/dependency management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, highly cross-functional environments
• Technical Knowledge Needed (Hands-On Coding NOT Required)
• Candidates should be technical enough to facilitate discussions around:
• AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform
• Vulnerability management & remediation
• Application security
• CI/CD & automation
• Public cloud security concepts
• Engineering delivery lifecycle
• This is NOT an engineering role, but candidates cannot be overly functional/non-technical.

• Coordinate large security/cloud engineering programs
• Manage timelines, dependencies, and risks
• Facilitate cross-team planning sessions
• Track delivery progress across multiple workstreams
• Run stakeholder updates and leadership reviews
• Ensure teams align to delivery standards and acceptance criteria
• Help remove blockers and escalate issues appropriately
• Drive coordination between product, engineering, and security teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across programs

• Strong candidates may come from:
• Technical Program Management
• Infrastructure Program Management
• Cloud Security Program Management
• Security Delivery Management
• Engineering PMO environments
• Platform Engineering organizations
• DevOps / SRE program environments
