Lockheed Martin is seeking a dynamic Systems Engineering Manager to lead a team spanning a multi-segment program.
Team with the Chief Systems Engineer, Chief Engineer, CAM and Segment leads to manage program priorities and tasking
Provide guidance on implementation of the Systems Engineering lifecycle processes and reviews, from requirements development through system integration and operations
Run the Systems Engineering working groups and technical forums with the customers
Manage Systems and Project Engineering resources for the program
Provide oversight and support to critical program engineering skill development
Perform staffing and performance responsibilities in coordination with HR and established processes
Establish, manage, and communicate team expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives
Support technical planning, system integration, validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in an Engineering or closely related field
Demonstrate a working knowledge of standard engineering processes and Systems Engineering lifecycle milestone reviews
Demonstrated Program/Project Management and leadership skills
Experience in Space Vehicle or Space based payload disciplines
Active or Current TS/SCI with Poly required to start
Desired Skills
Broad experience with the engineering life cycle processes and tools
Experience with Ground Command and Control systems or Mission Planning systems
Experience performing Space to Ground segment integration
Proposal preparation and negotiation
Customer interaction and familiarity with government programs
Familiarity with Mission Engineering /Mission Analysis
Familiarity with Guidance Navigation and Control Analysis

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
