Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2026 Systems Engineering Intern. In this role, you will perform systems engineering requirements and design tasks on a missile development program. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of engineering design principles.
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program or higher from an accredited college in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace,, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics
Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills
Software: Microsoft Office Suite, DOORS and CAMEO
Programming Languages: C and Python scripting
Experience With Requirements Management And Architecture Development
Strong technical writing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $55,806 - $64,168 . For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
