Location: Dallas, TX - Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts (6.5 ), vCenter Server, and vSAN
- Install, configure, and administer VMware components such as vCenter Server, VMware View, and VMware Update Manager
- Manage virtualization operations including vMotion, P2V, P2P, and V2V migrations
- Configure and manage virtual networking, storage, and associated components
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability
- Integrate vCenter with Active Directory (AD), DNS, backup systems, and other enterprise applications
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline VMware operations
- Implement disaster recovery solutions and ensure business continuity
- Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for infrastructure support and enhancements
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi 6.5 ) and vCenter Server
- Experience with virtualization lifecycle management and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts
- Experience with VMware tools such as vMotion, Update Manager, and DR solutions
- Knowledge of system integration (AD, DNS, backup tools)
- Experience managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
