- The candidate will analyze, design/functional specifications which adhere to IT standards and policies.
- Migrate data to appropriate repositories.
- Participate in requirement gathering and design discussions.
- Speak directly with senior IT SMEs to elicit requirements.
- Responsible for developing ETL processes for the migration of Client legacy data.
- Work in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Comply with data standards and policies.
- Initiate training to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
- Assist with Quality Assurance testing.
- Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.
- 60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
- 60 months of experience working on projects involving tasks related to design/development/testing for the migration of legacy data, 10 data sources
- 60 months of SQL experience
- 60 months of testing experience, including: Data Validation, creating comprehensive test plans, executing test plans, and reconciliation of data migrations
- 60 months of experience: Documenting workflow processes in modeling tools (such as Visio), Data Modeling
- 60 months of experience with ETL (data migration) using Data Stage (IBM Infosphere)
