Description
Under general supervision, configures Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications and responds to help desk tickets in accordance with documented procedures. Assists in the configuration and deployment of new systems as required, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the implementation process. Regularly updates management on project status. Performs application administration duties, including monitoring, logging, and reporting on application performance and capacity utilization. Identifies potential issues and recommends system enhancements to improve functionality and efficiency. Prepares and verifies job execution programs to ensure proper operation. Provides application administration support for FAA applications, ensuring high availability and reliability. Participates in scheduled on-call support during assigned weeks, as communicated in advance by the government team lead. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring that all configurations, documentation, and support activities are thorough, precise, and compliant with established procedures.
Support must include, but is not limited to the following:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related discipline.
Experience: Four years of progressive experience in computer programming and analysis in broad based IT settings, including contemporary computer hardware and programming languages. Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction only.

- Monitor incoming ticket queue and work or route tickets as they arrive
- Centralized processing job troubleshooting
- Weekly migration support
- End-of-month support
- Year-end support
- Release support
- Daily Checklist and monitoring user configured processing jobs
- Daily "Concurrent Manager" exports support, for middle tier configurations in the Oracle E-Business Suite
- Oracle E-Business Suite workflow support
- Outage notification processes
- Oracle E-Business Suite application system administration tasks, including but not limited to setup and/or validation of profile options, concurrent managers, security, user account, password resets, workflow, request groups, menus, responsibilities and instance validation
- Centralized data warehouse job troubleshooting
