Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Administrator in Fairhaven, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments and cloud infrastructure
- System Administrator will support and manage Azure services; Assist with AWS-related tasks as needed
- Lead and influence cloud migration initiatives, collaborating with on-prem teams
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
- Implement and maintain backup solutions and disaster recovery plans
- Manage SAP systems and integrations (if applicable)
- As a System Administrator, you will oversee data workflows and pipelines
- Document processes, configurations, and system changes for compliance and continuity
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members on cloud technologies
- 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator (mid-level)
- Proven experience with cloud migration projects and ability to influence change
- Experience with Data Factory or similar data integration tools (ideal)
- Strong expertise in Azure and Windows Server administration; AWS experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with a tenured team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to drive adoption of cloud practices
- Experience with Data Factory is a strong plus
- Familiarity with SAP systems (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of backup technologies and disaster recovery strategies (nice to have)
