Project Description: Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works independently. Typically reports to a manager. Image and deploy laptop and workstation systems. Occasional imaging and deployment/installation of equipment at other locations throughout the state may be required. Perform system patching, updates, refresh of operating system image. Installation of all peripherals, projectors, printers, camera's, sound equipment and recording devices. Configuring, installation, and support of all video conferencing systems. Configuring and maintenance of bridge system for conferencing. Conduct inventory and document hand receipts for all incoming and outgoing equipment. Coordinate staff support of all equipment for end users. Maintain data to support metric requirements provided to National Guard Bureau program management. Schedule and coordinate all audio and video conferences with owned locations and distant locations throughout the world. Prepare rooms for scheduled video or audio conferences. Coordinate issuance and return of loaned endpoints, video and audio equipment, and ensure equipment is properly set-up and taken down in support of conference requirements as needed. Ensure classified video conferencing is conducted in appropriate areas and verify class level of all participants prior to connecting system. Ensure classified and un-classified conferences are tested prior to event date. Monitor all classified transmissions to ensure integrity of communication.

Additional Information: This position requires an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required by federal regulations for clearance eligibility.
Education Required: High school graduate, college is not necessary but post HS training in computers is preferred. A certification, NW certification, preferred, Security required. US Secret clearance is required, applicants not eligible for a secret clearance are not eligible to work in this environment.
Education Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
