Description
Our client is looking to add another person to their team supporting users in their Troy & Warren locations. This person will work with another on-site team member to ensure that users have functioning equipment and their network & systems are working properly. This role will be responsible for setting up and maintaining servers, workstations, and general network functionality. Day to day responsibilities will be centered around troubleshooting, system administration, capacity planning, and ensuring established network security principles are adhered too.
Primary site support for the building in Warren, MI & additionally will be providing support roughly once per 2 weeks to the site in Troy, MI. Troy has a full time technician supporting the site, but bit more junior. Ideally the travel between sites will be minimal, but in case of someone being off work, or an increased backlog of tickets they have a back stop of being able to have the other technician help their site.

Once up and running there will be alot of autonomy for this person to run site IT as they see fit at the site in Warren and will be empowered to make decisions for site IT as they see fit. They do need to be prepared to handle the server & network issues as well as provide basic desktop support for on site issues that aren't handled by the general helpdesk team.
