Job Summary:
Implement and support lab environment infrastructure to include Firewalls, Switches, Hosting
Servers, Windows and Linux Virtual Machines, Windows Domain.
Document processes and details of implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain documentation of processes and configuration of lab infrastructure. Including: Firewalls, Switches, Hosting Servers, Windows and Linux Virtual Machines, Windows Domain.
Routine maintenance of lab infrastructure.
Identify performance bottlenecks and stability issues.
Recommend and implement process and system improvements.
Testing and monitoring of lab infrastructure.
Work with small teams as part of a large team to deliver quality applications.
Qualifications / Requirements
Skills:

Familiarity with: Windows Server, Linux, Cisco and Juniper network equipment
Detail oriented
Good communication and documentation skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Library Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent with minimum 2 years of experience
Additional Desired Characteristics
Familiarity with: CI/CD, MarkDown, Git, Mermaid, vSphere, Hyper-V, Windows Clustering, SSH servers
Experience with Windows domain administration, group policies, account administration, patching (WSUS)
Desire to automate processes to implement routine activities and documentation
