Job Description:
- Required PPE: Hard hat, gloves, ear protection, eye protection, steel toe boots/shoes
- Work schedule: Typically, 9:00 - 5:00 pm but it may vary slightly depending on the project and the team members (At the manager s discretion)
- The SR Structural Engineer position requires 10 years heavy industrial/power plant experience and an accredited bachelor s degree in civil/structural engineering.
- Job responsibilities include providing structural engineering services and producing and checking structural steel design calculations and drawings.
- Skillsets and expertise required for this position include detailed knowledge of structural steel design principles and industry methodologies, significant structural steel connection design experience, proficiency with structural codes and standards, extensive knowledge of heavy industrial structures and components, and strong computer skills - proficiency with structural computer programs such as STAAD PRO.
