We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Structural Engineer (PE) to join our team in the Construction industry. This is a fully remote position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects from the comfort of your own home. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and analyzing various structural systems using STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- Applying principles of structural analysis and reinforced concrete design to ensure the safety and durability of our projects.
- Working with precast structures, culverts, retaining walls, and other structural systems.
- Ensuring compliance with ACI 318, ACI 319, AASHTO, and other relevant standards.
- Collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Reviewing and approving project drawings and specifications.
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Continuously updating your knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Structural Engineer position will have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in the construction industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- Extensive knowledge of ACI 318, ACI 319, AASHTO, and other relevant standards.
- Experience with precast structures, culverts, retaining walls, and other structural systems.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and reinforced concrete design principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
