This role is central to HPE’s strategy to drive increased value and profitability through HPE intellectual property (IP) by developing deep, strategic, and execution-focused partnerships.
The Strategic Partner Manager will serve as the worldwide focal point for the assigned partner relationship, owning strategy, alignment, execution, and escalation management. The role is focused on strategic business development, joint solution leadership, and improved HPE IP–led selling execution within the rapidly evolving data protection market.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the global single point of contact for the assigned strategic data protection software partner
- Own and manage the end-to-end worldwide partner relationship
- Act as the primary escalation point for partner-to-HPE and HPE-to-partner
- Influence senior stakeholders across HPE and the partner organization to align priorities, investments, and roadmaps with HPE’s data protection and IP-led growth strategy
- Lead strategic business development initiatives focused on accelerating HPE IP growth through joint data protection solutions
- Drive joint solution definition and execution aligned to customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends in data protection
- Improve HPE/partner joint selling success and execution of HPE IP–led data protection solutions
- Partner closely with HPE sales, solutions, and regional teams to improve field execution and customer outcomes
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) with partner and HPE leadership
- Develop and deliver business analytics, insights, and reporting
- Monitor data protection market trends, competitive landscape, and partner positioning to inform strategy and execution
- 8 years of experience in strategic partnerships, alliances, business development, or related roles
- Proven experience managing complex, global technology partnerships
- Strong understanding of data protection technologies and market dynamics
- Ability to influence across matrixed organizations and at executive levels
- Demonstrated success driving business outcomes through strategic partner engagement
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, planning, and reporting capabilities
- Experience working in or with large global technology companies
- Ability to operate consistently during US business hours
- Availability to engage with US-based executives and decision-makers and manage time-sensitive escalations
