We are seeking an experienced Senior SDET with strong expertise in Java-based automation and API testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and enhancing test automation frameworks, working with BDD frameworks, and performing end-to-end API and integration testing.
This role requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, improve existing testing frameworks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts, test cases, and test data.
- Perform API testing for RESTful web services.
- Implement BDD frameworks using tools such as Cucumber or JBehave.
- Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks.
- Conduct end-to-end system integration testing, including third-party integrations.
- Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter.
- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
- Support full-stack testing, including UI, API, and backend components.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure software quality.
- Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
- Work independently and contribute to continuous testing improvements.
- Strong Java development and automation experience (5 years).
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as:
- Cucumber
- JBehave
- Or other similar BDD tools (3 years).
- Extensive experience in test automation framework design (8 years).
- Strong experience in API testing, especially:
- RESTful Web Services (3 years).
- Proven experience in:
- Writing test scripts
- Creating test cases
- Managing test data
- Experience writing SQL queries for data validation.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools, preferably:
- Apache JMeter (3 years).
- Experience in full-stack testing and third-party integrations.
- Strong experience in end-to-end system integration testing.
