Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise and service provider networks, ensuring seamless integration with commercial ISPs (e.g., AT&T) and datacenter environments.
- Lead the design and deployment of Cisco-based SD-WAN solutions, transitioning from JUNOS platforms.
- Configure and optimize BGP, MPLS, and enterprise routing architectures for performance and reliability.
- Manage and troubleshoot WAN connectivity, ensuring high availability and performance tuning.
- Deploy and maintain secure VPN solutions, including site-to-site and IPsec tunnels over the Internet.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to translate business needs into resilient, scalable network designs.
- Document network configurations, designs, and operational procedures with clarity and precision.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex, escalated network issues.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Certifications:
- IAT-III (e.g., CISSP, CASP , or equivalent).
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or Juniper certification (JNCIP/JNCIE).
- Functional area certifications (required prior to start).
- Experience:
- 10 years of proven experience working with commercial ISPs and integrating connectivity into datacenter environments.
- Deep expertise in BGP, MPLS, and enterprise routing protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Juniper platforms (Cisco experience highly desirable).
- Demonstrated success in configuring and supporting VPN solutions, including site-to-site and IPsec tunnels.
- Strong knowledge of WAN link management and performance optimization.
- Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
