Job Title: Sr. JAVA Scala Developer

Job Description:
- Program: Modernize Post-trade Settlement platform
- Migrate from legacy Cobol to Strategic Polaris platform.
- Strong Scala, Java development Skills with add on Testing expertise on Cucumber based framework for Regression and functional testing.
- Expertise in writing safe concurrent code using Scala's features and libraries (e.g. Akka or ZIO)
- Knowledge of JVM memory models, non-blocking data structures, and performance profiling to achieve low latency
- Familiarity with integrating Scala with frameworks like Apache Spark or Flink for large-scale data processing and analysis within the settlement process.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Extensive domain background in markets, specifically in post trade settlement and developing low latency, high throughput settlement platforms.
- Attention to details and extensive testing mindset in driving real-time trading, order management, market data processing, risk management, and regulatory reporting
