Job Description:
- As a Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting, enhancing, and maintaining statewide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in integrating new technologies and automating processes, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of client operations.
- Develop and maintain enterprise system programming using NATURAL and COBOL in a Linux environment.
- Troubleshoot complex eligibility determination systems and provide on-call support.
- Analyze, design, and implement large-scale development projects on IBM Mainframe/Linux systems.
- Interpret and apply federal and state mandates within Linux systems like MAVS.
- 10 years of experience in NATURAL and COBOL programming with ADABAS database expertise.
- 6 years of experience with SNAP and TANF eligibility systems.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Advanced skills in NATURAL/Natural One, COBOL, and ADABAS.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Experience with SCRUM and Jira Software.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
- Experience converting outdated technologies to new, innovative solutions.
