Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to support a Federal Reserve Board (FRB) project focused on building and deploying a cloud-native application in AWS GovCloud. This role requires strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, security, and CI/CD within a federal/compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS GovCloud infrastructure
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST standards
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Splunk)
- Manage multi-environment setups (Dev, Test, Staging, Prod)
- Identify and mitigate security risks across the application lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
- 5 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS
- 1 year of experience in AWS GovCloud
- Strong experience with Terraform (IaC)
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS
- Experience with CloudWatch or similar monitoring tools
- Understanding of IAM, networking, and cloud security best practices
- Experience with Splunk or Xacta 360
- Prior Federal/Government project experience
- Familiarity with NIST 800.53 / FISMA compliance
