Sr. Data Engineer

Introduction:

Our client, a major Technology Company seeking a Sr. Data Engineer with 10 Plus Years Experience to join our team on a contract basis. This position can be remote and offers a competitive rate. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, PySpark, Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and workflows
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for efficiency and performance
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering
  
  

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience with PySpark for distributed data processing
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure for cloud-based data solutions
• Familiarity with Databricks for big data processing and analytics
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake for data warehousing (good to have)
