Role: Sr. Data Engineer (Mongo DB and NoSQL)

Location: Lewisville, TX (Onsite/Hybrid)

Rate: $50/hr on W2

Experience: 10 Years

Visa: H1B Transfers also acceptable.

  • Data modeling (NoSQL design)
  • Embedding vs referencing
  • Schema design for performance
  • CRUD operations
  • Queries, aggregation pipeline, indexing
  • Indexing strategies
  • Compound, text, TTL indexes
  • Replication & sharding
  • Replica sets, shard keys, cluster design
  • Performance tuning
  • Query optimization, slow query analysis

🔄 Migration-Specific Skills

  • Schema transformation
  • Converting relational tables → document model
  • Handling joins → embedding/lookup
  • Data mapping & normalization
  • Handling large datasets
  • Batch migration, chunking, parallel processing
  • Data validation
  • Ensuring consistency post-migration
  • Downtime minimization
  • Zero-downtime / near-zero downtime strategies
