We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Commercial Project Manager to join our fast-paced, thriving construction company. This role is integral to our business operations, as it requires managing multiple commercial construction projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project execution, team leadership, budget management, subcontractor procurement, coordinating superintendents, risk management, CPM scheduling, contract management, and pre-construction. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Commercial Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple commercial construction projects from beginning to end.
• Developing full-scale project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Managing and coordinating project teams, including on-site staff, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring all parties are informed of updates and changes.
• Conducting risk management to minimize project risks, including identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions.
• Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Managing contract and price negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinating with superintendents to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Leading and managing pre-construction activities, including design, procurement, and planning.
• Regularly reporting project status to stakeholders, including progress, risks, and issues.
  
  

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Commercial Project Manager position will have the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proven experience in construction management, project execution, team leadership, and budget management.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent skills in subcontractor procurement, coordinating superintendents, risk management, CPM scheduling, contract management, and pre-construction.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
