Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers
- Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies
- Develop and manage ETL processes for data integration and migration
- Collaborate with application developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across databases
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in database design reviews and implement best practices
- Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
- Experience with stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers
- Knowledge of database normalization, indexing, and query optimization
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Oracle PL/SQL, or similar tools
- Knowledge of cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
