Role: SQL DBA Developer
Location: Palo Alto CA
Duration: Fulltime
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on experience in SQL programming, Debugging, Performance tuning, Database Design, Table schema and experience in database administration.
- Working experience in creating packages, stored procedures, cursors, triggers, functions, joins, replication and modifying SQL scripts in Oracle.
- Experience with database design, data Modeling, and data warehousing.
- Strong Experience in Normalization, Data Model (Logical, Physical).
- Good Experience in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration services).
- Strong Experience in Relational Databases Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts.
- Experience in database performance tuning.
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools will be an added advantage.
- Experience implementing and managing encryption lifecycle.
- Installing, Configuring and Upgrading SQL Server/Applying Service Packs.
- Server and Database Security Administration
- When performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases.
- Capacity planning, Client handling for new and upcoming migrations.
- Ability to document solutions and train operational teams.
- Experience with Azure is a plus.
- Experience with automation, PowerShell is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Should have excellent communication skills to effectively interface with Client.
