Role: Solution Architect Microsoft Fabric (Azure Data Platform)

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 months

Looking for a Solution Architect to design modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.

Strong Azure data experience is mandatory; Fabric experience is optional.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Data Architecture: Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), Data modeling (star schema, semantic layer), End-to-end data platform design
  • Azure Data Services (hands-on)
  • Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database
  • Power BI / Semantic Layer: Strong Power BI experience, DAX, data modeling, performance concepts
  • Data Engineering: Advanced SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, Spark/PySpark basics
  • Governance & Security: RBAC, RLS, Basic data lineage
