Responsibilities:
- Build and improve core Windows experiences that millions rely on daily.
- Partner with design, product management (PM), data science and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Use data and customer feedback to refine features and ensure quality, performance, and accessibility.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and follow secure-by-default engineering practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features across devices and services.
- Stay current with emerging technologies (including AI and cross-device protocols) and apply them to enhance user experiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline ,
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python .
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1 year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- OR Master's Degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Demonstrated understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object oriented design principles.
- Solid problem solving and collaboration skills; effective communicator in both remote and in office settings.
- Enthusiasm for working with AI/ML powered agents or desktop applications.
- Familiarity with .NET 9 APIs (e.g., modern threading).
