About The Role
The Mobility Simulation & Planning (MSP) Platform team builds the systems that power pricing and incentive budget planning across Uber's global marketplace. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$167,000 per year - USD$185,500 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$167,000 per year - USD$185,500 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$167,000 per year - USD$185,500 per year.

What You'll Do
- Design and build next-generation tools that power and visualize investment decisions, enabling smarter, data-driven strategies across the business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to deliver scalable systems and intuitive user experiences that drive business impact.
- Solve complex technical challenges in web services and distributed systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability at global scale.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 1 years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or a general-purpose language such as Java or Go
- Experience developing web applications using frameworks like React or Node.js
- Familiarity with microservices and API design
- Passion for building performant, user-focused web applications
- 2 years of experience in full-stack development
- Proven ability to build scalable, reliable web services and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of HTTP/REST/GraphQL, and experience with gRPC or Protobuf
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6 frameworks
- Experience creating intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences
- Familiarity with static type systems and modern web development best practices
