We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join a high-impact team responsible for safeguarding critical systems and infrastructure. This role offers a long-term opportunity to grow within the cybersecurity domain while contributing to a mission of national importance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor computer networks for security threats and anomalies
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and document findings
- Assess the impact of security breaches and support remediation efforts
- Collaborate with the security team to identify and test network vulnerabilities
- Implement and maintain security measures including firewalls and encryption tools
- Recommend and enforce IT security best practices
- Conduct forensic analysis and create secure duplicates of compromised files
- Analyze decrypted data and provide technical summaries
- Perform dynamic analysis including timeline, statistical, and file signature reviews
- Support real-time cyber defense operations and assist deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs)
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
