Toyota Financial Services is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer ( SRE) Software Engineer . The primary responsibility of this role is to focus on observability where you will develop and operate next generation observability platforms.
Reporting to the National Manager - SRE, the person in this role will support ensuring that internally critical and externally visible systems have reliability and uptime appropriate to users' needs, along with a fast rate of improvement, while keeping an ever-watchful eye on capacity and performance.

Who We're Looking For
Toyota Financial Services is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer ( SRE) Software Engineer . The primary responsibility of this role is to focus on observability where you will develop and operate next generation observability platforms.

What You'll Be Doing
- Developing API-driven micro-services that combine into large and complex platforms
- Planning and executing highly parallel distributed object storage transformations and migrations
- Maintaining automated test suites using CI/CD tools
- Participating in collaborative projects with small software engineering teams
- Develop automation, processes, and tools designed to make our services simpler and more robust
- 1-2 years' experience in developing in Python, Java, Go or Ruby and experience working in collaborative coding environments
- 1-2 years' experience in operating large-scale environments with Linux/Unix development or systems administration
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker and Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Hands-on operational experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment - distributed systems, capacity planning, and continuous deployment.
- Knowledge of AWS services like S3, Firehouse, ECS, EKS, EC2, IAM Policies, Lamda, etc.
- Knowledge of Observability platforms like Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Strong passion for innovation and rapid problem-solving
- Enthusiasm for automating repetitive tasks
- Deep commitment to software scalability and high-performance under heavy loads
- Genuine interest in using and contributing to open-source software
