Solution Design & Development
- Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas) applications with intuitive user interfaces, responsive layouts,
- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, data processing, and complex
- Develop scalable solutions that account for delegation limits, data volume, and performance constraints.
- Design and manage SharePoint Online-based data solutions, including:
- Lists and libraries
- Metadata and taxonomy structures
- Role-based permission models (inheritance vs unique permissions)
- Optimize solutions for large datasets and list threshold limitations.
- Implement robust data structures that support maintainability, reporting, and governance.
- Integrate solutions across Microsoft 365 services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Develop and configure custom connectors, REST API integrations, and data transformations.
- Ensure reliable end-to-end automation across multiple systems.
- Implement Power Platform governance practices, including:
- Environment strategy and segmentation
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
- Secure connector usage
- Ensure solutions meet data security, compliance, and auditing requirements.
- Align solutions with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Develop and manage ALM processes, including:
- Solution packaging (managed vs unmanaged)
- Environment promotion strategies (Dev → Test → Prod)
- Source control integration (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
- Support CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Monitoring, Support & Optimization
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications and workflows in production environments.
- Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and performance tuning.
- Optimize flows for:
- Concurrency control
- Throttling limits
- Retry logic and error handling
- Support incident management and ongoing operational improvements.
- Partner with stakeholders to:
- Gather and refine requirements
- Map business processes
- Document solutions and workflows
- Support UAT, deployment, and end-user adoption.
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and reusable components.
- Proven experience building Power Apps (Canvas) applications using Power Fx.
- Strong experience with Power Automate, including:
- Error handling and retry patterns
- JSON parsing and expressions
- Approvals and conditional logic
- Solid expertise in SharePoint Online architecture, including:
- Lists/libraries and metadata design
- Permissions and access models
- Performance considerations for large datasets
- Experience with API integrations, REST services, and custom connectors.
- Strong understanding of:
- Delegation limits and performance optimization
- Power Automate limits (throttling, concurrency, retries)
- Experience implementing Power Platform ALM using solutions, pipelines, and version control.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Key Vault).
- Experience working with or modernizing Microsoft Access databases.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including data modeling, automation, and integration with
- Experience developing Office Scripts for Excel automation and integration with Power Automate.
- Experience using Microsoft Graph API for advanced Microsoft 365 integrations and automation scenarios.
- Familiarity with governance and administration tooling such as:
- Power Platform Admin Center
- CoE Starter Kit
- CoreView (or similar tools)
- Experience implementing monitoring and logging strategies for Power Platform solutions.
- Exposure to RPA / Power Automate Desktop (nice-to-have).
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400) preferred.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, maintainable solutions.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable engaging with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive outcomes.
