Role Overview:
Leverage Technologies is looking for a skilled SharePoint Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within our Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will be responsible for transforming business requirements into scalable digital workspaces, automating complex workflows, and ensuring our intranet remains a high-performing hub for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy custom SharePoint solutions using SPFX (SharePoint Framework), React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Implement client-side functionality using JSON, jQuery, JavaScript & CSS, and custom workflows using SharePoint Designer.
- Configure and manage SharePoint SE farm, service applications, and security, including site collection import/export, backup strategies, and content deployment.
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot migration issues.
- Integrate SharePoint with external systems using REST API, SOAP, and custom connectors.
- Migrate legacy on-premise sites or Classic pages to Modern SharePoint Online environments.
- Create complex business workflows and custom forms using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Design site columns, content types, taxonomy, and site structures to ensure data is organized and searchable.
- Implement best practices for permissions, data loss prevention (DLP), and external sharing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize site performance, and provide technical guidance to site owners.
- 8 years of experience working as SharePoint Developer.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Ideal candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of Modern SharePoint Online (Communication & Team sites, Hub sites) while possessing the knowledge to migrate or maintain Foundational legacy components (Site Columns, Content Types, and Taxonomy).
- Proficiency in C# and PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL Server for SharePoint databases.
- Expertise in building client-side web parts, extensions (Application Customizers, Field Customizers), and ACEs (Adaptive Card Extensions) for Viva Connections using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Advanced skills in SharePoint UI development using React (Hooks and Functional Components) and TypeScript to ensure type-safety and scalable codebases.
- Proven ability to use the Graph API to integrate data across the M365 ecosystem, specifically pulling/pushing data for Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Planner into SharePoint-based solutions.
- Experience designing complex, multi-stage approval workflows, handling error-catching (Scope/Try-Catch), and using HTTP Request connectors for integrations beyond standard connectors.
- Proficiency in building Canvas Apps for mobile/tablet tailored for field workers and Model-driven apps for data-heavy back-office business processes.
- Experience with SharePoint List integration and Delegation limits is essential.
- Strong understanding of responsive design using Fluent UI React (formerly Office UI Fabric) to ensure custom components match the native Microsoft 365 look and feel. Expert-level HTML5 / CSS3 (including CSS Grid and Flexbox).
- Deep knowledge of asynchronous JavaScript, Promises, and consuming REST APIs to build high-performance, non-blocking user interfaces.
