Job Role: ServiceNow Technical lead / Software Engineer

Work Mode: Remote

Location: Sacramento - CA

My client is seeking a professional with 15 years of overall IT experience and 10 years of hands-on ServiceNow expertise to support a major enterprise project. The role involves working across a diverse portfolio of public-facing and internal applications, including workflow automation systems, low-code platform solutions, analytics dashboards, and ERP environments. The technology stack includes web technologies, Java/J2EE frameworks, cloud-based low-code platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce), analytics tools (PowerBI, ArcGIS), and enterprise databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and cloud data warehouses.

Staff Mandatory Qualifications

Senior Technical Lead (ServiceNow)

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Four (4) years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree. The substituted experience must be in addition to the required years of experience for each of the remaining MSQs. Example: If the Experience requirement is five (5) years, and the individual is substituting four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree, a total of nine (9) years of experience is required.
• Minimum of Ten (10) years of technical lead experience in the complete software development process using Agile Methodology.
• Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience working on a large-scale enterprise public-facing IT application to identify business needs and requirements, design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software on ServiceNow platform.
• Minimum of Ten (10) years of combined experience in front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, and jQuery), application technologies (object-oriented programming), back-end technologies (SQL, Stored Procedures, Relational Database ).
• Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience designing and integrating Application Programming Interface (APIs).
  

Software Engineer (ServiceNow)

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Four (4) years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree. The substituted experience must be in addition to the required years of experience for each of the remaining MSQs. Example: If the Experience requirement is five (5) years, and the individual is substituting four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree, a total of nine (9) years of experience is required.
• Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience as a senior programmer in the complete software development process using Agile Methodology.
• Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience working on a large-scale enterprise public-facing IT application to identify business needs and requirements, design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software on ServiceNow platform.
• Minimum of Eight (8) years of combined experience in front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, and jQuery), application technologies (object-oriented programming), back-end technologies (SQL, Stored Procedures, Relational Database).
• Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience designing and integrating APIs.
