- Manage complex inventory operations including receiving, storing, transferring, and cycle counting of materials and products.
- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory using inventory management systems.
- Prepare expired or obsolete inventory for proper disposal.
- Inspect and receive raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods using inventory systems and material handling equipment.
- Perform real-time data entry and inventory transactions in ERP systems while ensuring adherence to inventory control policies.
- Label, package, and store materials appropriately and ensure proper delivery to designated warehouse locations.
- Coordinate sampling requests and maintain service quality standards.
- Prepare and transfer materials for production, export, or external warehouse use, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on warehouse operations and processes.
- Act as a key user or backup for system-related activities, including testing and implementation support.
- Lead investigations on inventory discrepancies, cycle count variances, and audit findings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across warehouse areas, including storage units.
- Stay updated and compliant with quality systems and operational procedures.
- Extensive experience with inventory management systems and ERP platforms.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order picking equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to train and mentor team members.
- Six or more years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
- Experience leading or supporting team operations.
- Oversee inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with inventory and quality standards.
- Support audits, investigations, and process improvements.
- Train and guide junior team members.
- Maintain operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and inventory tools.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or 5S.
- Certification in forklift operation.
- Experience with audit processes and corrective actions.
- Green Belt certification preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree preferred.
