We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Vulnerability Engineer to drive end-to-end remediation of security vulnerabilities across enterprise environments. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for owning the full lifecycle of vulnerability management from identification through remediation, validation, and closure.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for owning the full lifecycle of vulnerability management from identification through remediation, validation, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the complete vulnerability remediation lifecycle, including triage, assignment, remediation, validation, and closure
- Act as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR), managing vulnerability groups, items, SLAs, and workflows
- Lead regular remediation meetings with IT teams to track progress, resolve blockers, and ensure timely closure of vulnerabilities
- Perform hands-on remediation activities, including patching, configuration changes, and implementation of compensating controls
- Validate remediation efforts and ensure proper documentation and audit-ready evidence is maintained
- Collaborate with IT and patching teams to execute and track remediation plans effectively
- Monitor and manage SLA performance, vulnerability aging, and risk exposure
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and ServiceNow to provide insights into remediation status and trends
- Facilitate risk acceptance and exception processes, ensuring proper approvals and documentation
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and escalate risks or delays as needed
- Continuously improve processes and documentation, and mentor junior team members
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
- 7 years of experience in vulnerability remediation, patch management, or security operations
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid7 and Wiz
- Solid understanding of patching, configuration management, and remediation validation
- Experience in reporting and analytics using Power BI or similar tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive tasks to completion
