Senior Systems Engineer (Microsoft Infrastructure & Cloud)

Hybrid | 60% Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support a Microsoft-centric infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role will work closely with infrastructure leadership to ensure high availability, security, and performance across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage identity and access controls across Active Directory and Azure AD environments.
• Architect and administer Microsoft Azure services and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and maintain Hyper-V virtualization platforms and high-availability clusters.
• Manage Windows Server environments and support enterprise storage platforms (SAN/NAS).
• Integrate third-party cloud and SaaS platforms with existing infrastructure.
• Implement and enhance security controls across cloud and on-prem systems.
• Develop disaster recovery, replication, and failover strategies for critical services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve incidents through root cause analysis.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Produce technical documentation and serve as a senior escalation point for the systems team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10 years managing Microsoft enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Hyper-V, Exchange (on-prem & Online), Microsoft Defender, and enterprise backup/storage platforms.
• Experience with PowerShell automation and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices in hybrid environments.
