What You’ll Do
- Architect comprehensive electronic hardware solutions, spanning from initial schematic capture to finalized multilayer PCB layouts.
- Drive the full product development lifecycle, ensuring every design iteration meets rigorous performance and durability standards.
- Synthesize complex system requirements into actionable engineering specifications for high-reliability environments.
- Champion rigorous testing protocols to validate signal integrity, thermal management, and electromagnetic compatibility.
- Execute detailed hardware-software integration, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system interoperability.
- Troubleshoot intricate hardware anomalies using advanced diagnostic tools, implementing robust corrective actions for flight-grade electronics.
- Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in analog and digital circuit design, with a deep understanding of power distribution and high-speed signal routing.
- Strategic Design: Extensive experience utilizing modern EDA tools for sophisticated PCB design and simulation.
- Industry Sophistication: A strong background in developing electronics for extreme environments, specifically within the military or space-flight sectors.
- Logic Programming: Proficiency in FPGA/CPLD architecture, including the simulation and debugging of complex logic designs.
- Firmware Integration: Hands-on experience developing and integrating embedded firmware for microcontrollers and CPUs.
- Specialized Systems: Exposure to LIDAR technology or similar advanced optical sensing platforms is highly advantageous.
- Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required; an MSEE is preferred.
