Position Summary
- This is a senior, customer-facing Solution Architect role that will serve as part of the leadership team supporting a 50-person IT hub.
- The position focuses on defining and guiding high-level architecture, providing coaching (not direct management), and creating scalable, reliable solutions that drive business outcomes.
- The right candidate will combine strong technical architecture skills with excellent communication abilities and a collaborative, coaching-oriented mindset.
- 80% Architecture / 20% Leadership (coaching, not managing)
- 1 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience with Microservices architecture, API platforms, and high-traffic, high-visibility systems
- Knowledge of scalable, reliable, and modern architectural frameworks
- Strong cloud-based architecture experience
- Microservices API platform expertise
- Background designing enterprise-scale, customer-facing platforms
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven patterns, and high-availability systems
- Ability to coach teams and influence architecture direction
- Comfort working in Agile environments
- Transportation or logistics industry experience major plus
- Strong foundation in solution and systems architecture
- Experience supporting mission-critical, customer-facing platforms
