The Applied Sciences Group (ASG) is looking for a generalist Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to help us create innovative features across Windows and other Microsoft products. A highly experienced full-stack individual contributor who will code for the majority of the time, ranging all the way from the OS to app level and service integrations.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Write correct, efficient, and production-grade code.
- Design and defend high quality user experiences that delight our customers.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4 years developing and debugging production-level code.
- 4 years end-to-end project development experience.
- Experience in designing and implementing User Experiences for Windows and/or Android Apps.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in modern programming languages such as Kotlin or Rust, with a strong understanding of system-level or mobile application development.
