We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join an Agile Software Development team. This role is critical in ensuring software quality by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and test cases across complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute robust test strategies, plans, and test cases
- Validate software quality through functional, integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including developers, product owners, and stakeholders
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development and/or testing
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance)
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or C#) for test automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools for automated test planning, execution, and analysis
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
