- Platform Leadership: Act as a Technical SME/Architect, guiding platform strategy, design, governance (CSDM), upgrades, and health monitoring.
- Development: Design, build, and customize complex applications, workflows, integrations (REST/SOAP), and Service Portal features using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, etc..
- Integration & Data: Develop robust integrations with external systems (e.g., , , ) and manage CMDB data effectively.
- Mentorship & Standards: Lead/mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
- Collaboration: Partner with business/IT stakeholders to translate needs into technical designs and deliver solutions, including documentation and training.
- DevOps/Testing: Support platform patches/upgrades, create automated tests, and use DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Jenkins).
- Experience: 10 years in enterprise IT, 5 years hands-on ServiceNow development/scripting (JS, Angular).
- Certifications: CSA (Certified System Administrator) required; advanced certs (CAD, CIS, CTA) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of ITSM, GRC, Flow Designer, Service Portal, CMDB, Glide APIs, business rules, client scripts, API integrations.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of ITIL and Agile/Scrum.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, and ability to work with technical/non-technical audiences.
- Experience with specific modules (GRC, SPM, Discovery).
- Experience in regulated industries (Gov/Public Sector).
- Experience with cloud (AWS) and Linux/Windows infrastructure
