What You'll Do
- Architect and build scalable, secure backend systems using Ruby on Rails.
- Lead technical initiatives across teams, ensuring best practices and high standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to deliver impactful features.
- Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, pairing, and career development.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and team culture.
- Help shape the roadmap and technical strategy for our core platform.
- Expert-level Ruby and Rails experience (4 years preferred).
- Experience working on full-stack web applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills-able to inspire and align teams.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or high-growth startups is a plus.
- Passion for clean code, thoughtful design, and building products that matter.
