- Key skills; Python, Oracle, SQL
- 10 years of hands on experience as a database developer in Oracle
- Strong data analysis, design, and coding skills
- Strong RDBMS skills SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, pipeline functions, views, table partitioning
- Knows how to restrict access through roles, user privileges and object privileges
- Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries.
- Has used SQL Loader to load large files.
- Has used SQL Plus command.
- Knowledge of Oracle AQ messaging.
- Has developed Python scripts for data handling.
- Comfortable working on Linux servers and writing shell programs.
- Experience working with team in Agile methodology
- Knowledge of core java is a plus
- AWS Cloud experience is a plus
- 5 years work experience in financial industry preferably in Client markets/Prime brokerage.
- Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry
- Knowledge of accounting concepts is nice to have.
- Prime Brokerage application development experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
- Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners.
- Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions.
- Committed to timely and quality deliverables.
