- The Senior Developer Microsoft / Sr. .NET Developer will serve as a senior .NET developer working closely with the Systems Architect on large-scale development initiatives.
- This role supports the development of internal and public-facing web-based systems on the Microsoft platform for the Environmental Health Data System (KEHDS).
- The position requires deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, strong object-oriented design skills, and the ability to deliver complex, scalable web-based solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and implement large-scale web-based and client-server applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Collaborate with the Systems Architect and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
- Develop applications using , MVC, Blazor, C#, , Web API, and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Design and implement n-tier architectures using object-oriented principles and service-oriented architecture.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server components including stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Build and enhance user interfaces using Blazor, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS.
- Work with Entity Framework, EF Core, , and LINQ for data access and integration.
- Develop and maintain web services, Windows services, and WCF services.
- Produce and review technical documentation and design artifacts.
- Participate in code reviews, static code analysis, and application performance optimization.
- Work with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, and Crystal Reports as required.
- Support desktop and rich client applications using WPF and XAML when needed.
- Continuously learn, adapt, and implement new and innovative technologies.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing large-scale web-based applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Strong experience with .NET Framework 4.5 and above, .NET 6 and above, and SQL Server 2012 and above.
- Extensive experience with C#, , , MVC, Blazor, and service-oriented architecture.
- Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, analysis, and design.
- Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Experience with WCF, Web API, and Windows services.
- Strong SQL Server skills including stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Experience working with Entity Framework, EF Core, , and LINQ.
- Experience reviewing and producing technical documentation.
- Ability to work with cross-sector teams including development, infrastructure, and network operations.
- Good understanding of ADFS, claims-based authentication, WS-Fed, and OIDC protocols.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with SQL Server 2022.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience generating reports using SSRS, Power BI, and Business Objects.
- Experience with workflow tools and SharePoint integration.
